Supplies Needed:
- BPA-Free Silicon Soap Mold
- Microwave Safe Pyrex Dish
- Measuring cup
- Cutting Board
- Sharp Knife
- Large Spoon
- Small Spoon or Whisk
- Blender
- Microwave or Double Boiler
Ingredients:
- Goat Milk Soap Base- 1.5lbs
- Whole Oatmeal- 1 cup
- Hemp Seed Oil- 1/4 cup
- Tea Tree Oil- 15 to 20 drops
- Green Soap Colorant (optional)- 15 drops
- Grain Oatmeal- 1/4 cup
Step 1
Using a cutting board, cut the Soap Base into 1-inch Cubes. Place these cubes into the microwave-safe glass dish.
Step 2
Grind the grain 1/4 cup of Oatmeal and sprinkle these into the bottom of the soap molds.
Step 3
Microwave the glass dish on high for a minute and 30 seconds. Ensure all chunks have dissolved and melted. An extra 15 seconds is optional to obtain the desired mixture. Using the double broiler during this step is also optional.
Step 4
Work quickly during this step to ensure the soap does not harden. Add the hemp oil, tea tree oil, soap colorant(optional), and part of whole oatmeal into the melted soap and stir. Stir thoroughly to incorporate the oil properly.
Step 5
Using the large spoon fill each soap mold to the top and top it off with the remaining whole oatmeal. This will enable for extra skin exfoliation.
Step 6
Now that you have your molds ready, set them aside for at least an hour for them to harden. After an hour, the soap should carefully pop out and be ready for you to enjoy.
